Low Profile Air Stripping
The Neep Systems ShallowTray® Air Stripper is an economical choice for groundwater remediation with low maintenance, design simplicity, flexibility, and high performance. The system is available in a number of different configurations and materials of construction each selected for desired performance and capacity. Systems are available in polyethylene (HDPE), all stainless steel, and epoxy coated mild steel. Some systems are even available with a unique front slide-out easier to clean than most typical tray-type systems.
Packed Tower Air Stripping
In addition to Low Profile Air Strippers, BISCO Environmental designs and manufactures Packed Tower Air Strippers. These systems can be manufactured according to a particular specification or custom designed for a particular site's performance requirements. Our packed towers are typically one-piece units constructed of durable Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) with an exterior UV protective gel coat finish and corrosion resistant PVC internals.
Clarifiers
BISCO Environmental supplies clarifiers for the removal of suspended solids
and inorganic matter such as iron or other metal hydroxides, from groundwater
and wastewater. Many dissolved metals can be efficiently removed from the water
with the use of chemical addition prior to the clarification process. Different
types of clarifiers are available that can be configured for a tremendous variety
of conditions making them the most versatile systems available. Compact design
and high performance allow clarifiers to be installed for new projects as well
as retrofitted into existing systems.
A typical unit is supplied with a removable plate pack, and sludge auger/thickener
supplied on the larger models. The clarifiers can also be optionally provided
with integral flash/floc chambers, automatic pH adjustment equipment, chemical
mixers, chemical pumps, and controls and instrumentation.
Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Systems
BISCO Environmental supplies Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Systems for the
removal of emulsified oil, suspended solids, and floatable solids from groundwater
and wastewater. Microscopic air bubbles are created when the dissolved air
is released, which then lift heavy particles to the surface where they exit
the waste stream and are skimmed off for further processing. The DAF System
is available in many different sizes and configurations, making it an extremely
versatile system for automatic and reliable treatment. It can handle any difficult
application as a stand alone unit or with a combination of chemical inputs
including polyelectrolyte, dry powders, and organic/inorganic chemicals.
A typical DAF unit is supplied with an adjustable speed surface flight skimmer,
bottom sludge auger, influent/effluent/float scum chambers, and a recycle/air
induction pressurization system. Optional equipment includes automatic pH adjustment,
flash/floc mixing chambers, chemical pumps, and controls and instrumentation.
Filter Presses
BISCO Environmental supplies filter presses for the handling of various industrial sludges and process solid/liquid slurries. Each filter press is comprised of typical standard components with various options available.
Other Systems
BISCO Environmental also supplies bag filters, process tanks, and pH adjustment
equipment for groundwater remediation and wastewater projects.
